Kenneth Alvin Hamm

Kenneth Alvin Hamm, 95, of Abington, PA died October 11th, 2023 at the Delaware Valley Veterans Home in Philadelphia, PA.  Kenneth Hamm is the son of Olive Bailey Werley and step-son of Raymond Werley.  He is survived by his wife of 45 years Juanita Hamm.  One son, Gary Hamm (Marilyn) of Lake City, FL and one grandson Anson Hamm (Ashley) and great-granddaughter, Penelope Hamm.  Also surviving are step children Daniel Robinson, Gale Pesci, Harry Robinson, Kenneth Robinson and Fran Navin.  After serving over four years in the Army just after World War II Kenneth started his career with Neisners retail store in Evansville, IN.  He eventually transferred to other stores in Texas working his way up to manager.  In 1961 he opened up the new Neisners store in Lake City, FL.  In 1970 he transferred to a Neisners store in Chicago, IL and eventually took a job as manager for Levine Fabrics in Colmar, PA.  While residing in Abington, PA his final work years were as a machinist at Moore Products.  During his retirement years he returned to his favorite hobby of bowling.

Services will be held Monday October 16th, 2023 12:30 pm at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002.  Arrangements are being handled by John J. Bryers Funeral Home, Inc.,
