Kenneth Zeltner Jr. Obituary

Kenneth Eugene Zeltner Jr., of Conroe, TX, formerly of Manahawkin, NJ, and Roslyn, PA, passed away on April 19, 2025, at the age of 67. Born in Norristown, PA, on August 6, 1957, Ken was a devoted husband, proud father and grandfather, loyal friend, and a U.S. Navy veteran who lived with strength, humor, and heart.

Ken grew up in Roslyn and attended St. John the Baptist Elementary School before graduating from Abington High School in 1976. He spent 25 years living in Manahawkin, New Jersey, building a life full of love, laughter, and lifelong friendships before moving to Conroe, Texas, where he enjoyed the last five years of his life in retirement.

Ken is survived by his beloved wife, Colleen, and his children: Danielle Flynn, A.J. Zeltner (Natalie), Lauren Lawlor, Caitlin Sciuto (Ryan), and Chloe Zeltner. He was the cherished “Pop” to his grandchildren Aubree, Jackson, Finn, Henry, and Teagan, who brought endless joy to his life. He is also survived by his siblings Kathleen Grabarz (Frank), Beth Zeltner, and Chris Zeltner, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anne and Kenneth Sr., and his brother Keith.

Ken worked as a truck driver for many years, always providing for his family with quiet strength and relentless dedication. Ken was the kind of man who found joy in life’s simple pleasures: a good game of golf, his favorite music, a well-earned cigar, and time spent with friends and family. Though he may have begrudgingly welcomed each new pet into the family home, they always ended up choosing him as their favorite. But most of all, Ken loved his family—especially his grandchildren—and treasured every moment spent with them.

A memorial service to celebrate Ken’s life will be held on May 16, 2025, from 2:30pm –4 PM at John J. Bryers Funeral Home, 406 Easton Rd, Willow Grove, PA 19090.

Interment will be private.

Ken’s greatest pride was his family. His legacy lives on in the laughter of his grandchildren, the strength of his children, and the love he gave to everyone fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
