Kristen M. (Maher) Kulak

Kristen M. (Maher) Kulak of Oreland, PA passed peacefully at home on June 15, 2024 in the company of her beloved husband Joseph (Joe) and her daughters Amanda, Emily, Lauren, and Katie.

The daughter of the late William (Bill) and Agnes Maher, Kristen's vivacious energy captured the heart and minds of all who knew her: from childhood girlfriends, through London-Colorado moves, to her current home in East Oreland.  A proud graduate of Philadelphia High School for Girls and Philadelphia College of Textile & Science, Kristen pursued a career in accounting/finance for 25 years.

A woman of many interests, she traveled throughout Europe and the USA.  From sea to mountains there were many adventures and memories made with her husband and family.

She enjoyed relaxing on the beach at her happy place in Sea Isle City, impromptu gatherings with neighbors, girls nights with friends, and holidays with family.

As a loving and dedicated mother, Kristen relished watching her daughters’ sports and varied activities.  As a devoted wife of 26 years, Kristen was an avid supporter of Joe’s numerous outdoor adventures and endeavors. She embraced everything about motherhood and taking care of her family.

Kristen was a very giving person who was actively involved in her community.  She readily volunteered her time to serve in various community and school associations, boards and charitable organizations. 

In addition to her husband Joe and daughters Amanda, Emily, Lauren, and Katie, she is survived by her brothers Michael (Margaret) and Timothy, stepmother Dorothy Maher, stepsiblings Rick (Joy) and Denise (Rob), and many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Thursday evening June 27, 2024 from 5pm to 8pm and Friday morning June 28, 2024 from 10am to 11:15 at Saint Alphonsus Catholic Church, 33 Conwell Dr, Maple Glen, PA 19002.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday morning at 11:30am at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.

Interment will be held privately.
