Lois Yanowitz

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Lois Yanowitz of Huntingdon Valley.  Lois or “Lolo” as she preferred to be called passed away at the age of 62 years on September 13, 2024. Lolo’s family consisted of her supports and caregivers. She has been surrounded by her caregivers since she was only 4 days old. She had received care and love from many different supports from many providers, such as KenCrest, Altech, Partnership for Community Supports and Lynch Homes. Lolo loved her family and would often show affection by extending her arms out for a hug. Lolo was a sweet woman.  

Those who knew Lolo knew that she loved food and company. Lolo had a great appetite for life! Lolo enjoyed being outdoors and having comfy spaces to relax in such as her bean bag. She enjoyed interacting with people and her laugh was always infectious!

Lolo will forever stay a part of our memories and hearts.

And though we seem apart

I’m with you when you greet each day
And while the sun shines bright
I’m there to share the sunsets, too
I’m with you every night.

I’m with you when the times are good
To share a laugh or two,
And if a tear should start to fall
I’ll still be there for you.

And when that day arrives
That we no longer are apart,
I’ll smile and hold you close to me,
Forever in my heart.
