Loretta A. Ceniviva

Loretta A. Ceniviva passed away on January 18, 2024, at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Wyncote, PA after an extended illness. She was 83.

Loretta was born in Willow Grove, PA and was a lifelong resident except for her years as an Immaculate Heart of Mary sister (Sister Ronald Marie), during which she lived and taught in various parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.  After returning from the convent, she pursued clerical positions including church secretary at Saint John Bosco church in Hatboro.

As a religious, she enjoyed teaching First and Second grade.  She continued to be an active parishioner with Saint David’s church in Willow Grove as choir member and Eucharistic Minister.  She had a lovely voice and enjoyed singing.  She was an avid card player.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, George and Emma, her brothers Joseph and George, and her sisters Marie and Dolores.  She is survived by her twin brother Ronald, with whom she lived until illness required nursing home care.  She was a loving aunt to many nephews and nieces.

Visitation and Mass will be at Saint David’s Catholic Church (316 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA) on Saturday, January 25.  Visitation at 9:30am to 10:30am followed by Mass at 10:30am and interment at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
