Louise T. (Cuninko) Echelmeier

Louise T.  Echelmeier (nee Cuninko),92, formerly of Willow Grove, peacefully passed on September 20, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles J. Echelmeier and Sisters Valerie, Elizabeth & Frances.

She is survived by her children , Mary Louise Durham Butler (Paul Brandt), Charles J. Echelmeier (Maria), Carolyn Casalinuovo (Domenico), Annette Crovo (Paul), John Paul Echelmeier (Lori), and Matthew Echelmeier (Kathleen); her nephew, Earl Cuninko, 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She was a Registered Nurse, who graduated from St. Mary’s Hospital in Philadelphia, 1951.  She worked for many years at St. Joseph Manor. Louise was a Lioness with the Willow Grove Lions Club, Upper Moreland HS Marching Band Nurse from 1973-1976.  She was also a long time member of St. David RC Church in Willow Grove, she prepared meals for St. Vincent DePaul Society.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Tuesday evening September 26, 2023 from 6pm to 8pm at the John J. Bryers Funeral Home, 406 Easton Road, Willow Grove PA 19090.  A morning viewing will be held on Wednesday September 27, 2023 from 9:30am to 10:15am at St. David RC Church, 316 Easton Road, Willow Grove PA 19090.  A funeral mass will follow at 10:30am.

Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
