Lynne Gibbs

Lynne Gibbs (nee Sternshein) passed away peacefully on April 15th, 2026. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and friend.

Wife of devoted husband and caregiver, lan Gibbs. Mother of Wayne (Maria) Wexler, Wendy (William) Verna and Whitney (David) Posternack, Todd (Talita) Gibbs and David (Jami) Gibbs. Grandma / Grammy to Dustin, Robbie (Hayley), Jacob (Lauren), Sophia, Josh, Alana, Noah, Madalyn, Charlie, Bella, Brooke, and Charli. Sister to Michael (Susan)

Sternshein and Iris (Robert) Froehlich.

Lynne was born and raised in Brooklyn but spent the last 54 years outside of Philadelphia. She never lost her accent.

She loved dancing and laughing and being with her family and friends. She had endless energy and loved to plan and host a good party. She loved the beach and she loved to play the slots. Her friendships were deep and long lasting.

Her children were well fed and well loved.
