Marie Agnes (Scholly) Taddei

Marie Agnes Taddei (Scholly) has joined her late husband, Francis Joseph Taddei and other departed relatives and friends in heaven May 02, 2021. Originally from Philadelphia and Glenside, PA, Marie was a long time resident of Hatboro and Upper Moreland Township, as well as a member of Willow Grove’s Saint David parish for almost 70 years. Marie enjoyed cooking, cleaning, puzzles, and, first and foremost, spending treasured time with her family.

She is survived by her 5 children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and many loving relatives and friends.

There will be no formal funeral services. The family wishes to thank all who have supported them through their love and prayers these past 2 years. In lieu of flowers and gift donations, please honor Marie through performing acts of kindness and caring for others, a lifelong example she showed us all.

Lord, help me live from day to day

In such a self-forgetfuI way,

That even when I kneel to pray,

My prayer shall be for “Others.”

Help me in all the work I do,

To ever be sincere and true,

And know that all I do for You,

Must needs be done for “Others.”

Let self be crucified and slain

And buried deep; and all in vain

May efforts be to rise again

Unless to live for “Others.”

And when my work on earth is done,

And my new work in Heaven’s begun,

May I forget the crown I’ve won,

While thinking still of “Others.”

“Others,” Lord, yes, “Others!”

Let this my motto be.

Help to live for others,

That I may live for Thee.
