Mary E. Emig

Mary Emig of Huntingdon Valley passed on May 30, 2024.

Mary Etterly Edwards Emig was born on November 1, 1926 in Tewksbury Massachusetts. 

Mary attended West Philly High school where she met Frank at a dance after he returned from the war, and they fell in love. They got married on October 11, 1952. In 1956 they had a house built on Edgehill Road in Huntingdon Valley PA where she lived to her last day. They adored each other and literally never left each other’s side.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Emig, her sister Helen Mann and her step brother Richard Edwards.

Survived by her children Frank “Bud” J. Emig III (Francine Moore), Joseph J. Emig, and James F. Emig, and her grandson Matthew Emig. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Tuesday June 11, 2024 from 930am to 1015am at St. David RC Church, 316 Easton Rd, Willow Grove PA 19090.  Funeral Mass at 10:30am. 

Interment in Forest Hills Cemetery.
