Mary Louise Hernandez passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 5, 2025 at Pine Run Village in Doylestown, PA. She was born in Kingston, PA on February 17, 1937.

Mary was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 66 years, Jessey Hernandez, who passed away in December 2024. She is survived by her children: Karen Starner of Montgomeryville, PA; Michael Hernandez and his spouse Beth of Austin, TX; Robert Hernandez and his spouse Gabriela Segal of Philadelphia, PA; Stephen Hernandez of Brentwood, TN; and Linda Weigand of Phoenix, AZ. Her legacy continues through thirteen beloved grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mary dedicated her professional life as a nurse at Abington Memorial Hospital, where her compassion and care touched countless lives until her retirement. She found joy traveling with Jessey and cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren. An avid reader and lover of music, Mary enriched her life and the lives of those around her with her wisdom and warmth.

She was an active member of St. David RC Church in Willow Grove, faithfully serving her church community since 1960, until the pandemic and later declining health.

Mary will be remembered for her kindness, resilience, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her loving spirit and selfless nature inspired all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday October 8, 2025 from 9am to 10am at St. David RC Church, 316 Easton Road, Willow Grove PA 19090.  Funeral Mass will follow at 10am.

Interment will be on THURSDAY October 9, 2025, and start promptly at 9:30am at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd, Newtown, PA 18940.  Please meet at the Visitor Center by 9:20am.
