Mary Ann Lemieux (nee Pieck) 94, passed away December 26, 2018 in Ambler, PA. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Artman Lutheran Home Chapel on Saturday, January 12, 2018. Visitation begins at 10:30 and the service will begin at 11:30 am. Address is 205 N. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, PA. Use the main entrance off Mt. Pleasant Ave.
Mary Ann was born in Plains, PA to Joseph (d 1924) and Susan Pieck (d 1980) on February 28, 1924. After high school, Mary Ann, along with friends and a few of her sisters moved to Baltimore, MD to work in federal jobs to support the war effort. While there, she met and later married Adrien Lemieux, US Navy (d. January 2011). Adrien chose to be career Navy, and their life together involved living from Norfolk, VA to Quincy, MA and many points in between. Since the early 1960s, they lived and raised their children in Willow Grove and then Horsham, PA.
In addition to her parents, her step father John J. Rajchel, and her husband, Mary Ann is preceded in death by all her siblings, several other family members and so many good friends.
Mary Ann is survived by her son Adrien LeMieux, Jr (Skip), daughters Karen LeMieux (Jay Shelov), and Susan LeMieux Heger (Richard), grandchildren Jon Crowley (Laura Beardsley), Jessica Heger, and Jeffrey Heger, Cousin Ann Yevich, nieces and nephews Sylvia Chicanosky, Ronald Lucas, Carolyn (Frank) Halles, Dr. Henry Henczel (Laura), children Hannah and Katelyn, Chris Kosanchuk, Antoinette Wingart and Dr. David Rajchel. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to her friends and caregivers at the Artman Lutheran Home in Ambler, PA.
