Michael Albanese

Michael Albanese, 68, passed away on August 2nd, after a long battle with melanoma. Mike is survived by his beloved wife, Dawn, of 41 years. He is also survived by his devoted daughter, Marisa (Grace Kaiser) Albanese, his niece, Jessika, and 3 nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his parents and brother Frank. 

Mike was born in a small village in Italy called Solofra and immigrated with his family to Philadelphia as a preteen. Mike worked for SEPTA for 36 years before retiring in 2018. He was a diehard fan of Philly sports, especially the Eagles and Flyers. Mike was also a bowling obsessive and a member of a local bowling league for many years. He had an incredible sense of humor who loved to make his wife and daughter laugh. 

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Arthritis Foundation, ASPCA, or American Cancer Society in memory of Mike. 

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Thursday August 10, 2023 at 10:30am at St. David RC Church, 316 Easton Road, Willow Grove PA 19090.  Viewing in church from 9:30am to 10:15am.

Interment will follow in Hatboro Cemetery, 36 Fulmor Ave, Hatboro, PA 19040.
