Nancy McCabe, age 91, a resident of Ann’s Choice Retirement Community, Warminster, PA, died after a brief illness on August 31, 2021.
Nancy was born on November 30, 1929, to Edward and Anna Marie McAndrews. After graduating from Little Flower High School in 1948, she went on to study cosmetology. She started her working career as a hairstylist in Willow Grove and enjoyed her profession very much. Nancy was a stylish woman who always looked her best.
She was the wife of Joseph Francis McCabe, Jr., who preceded her in death in 2010. They would have been married for 68 years and were parents to six children Patricia Paris, Thomas (Gisele), Joseph III (Diane), Kelli El-Khibiri (Magdi), Phillip (Marion), and Brett (Tonya). They have fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Nancy was one of eight children, survived by her sister Barbara Lyons (Tom), brother Jack (Dwan), and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Ed McAndrews and sisters Rita Corey, Mary O’Connell, Betty Cotter, and Dot Antonetti.
Nancy was a vibrant, fun-loving woman with a great sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with her large extended family and friends. When he was alive, she and her husband Joe loved dancing, especially to Frank Sinatra tunes. They enjoyed going on cruises, beach vacations, and traveling to visit many faraway places, especially her beloved Ireland.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at Saint John Bosco Catholic Church, with visitation commencing at 9:30 am on Thursday, September 9, 2021, with mass beginning at 10:30 am. Saint John Bosco, located at 215 E. County Line Road, Warminster, PA. Interment will immediately follow at Saint John Neumann Cemetery, 3797 County Line Road, Chalfont, PA.
