Obituary for Norma Maginnis

Norma Theresa Maginnis of Berlin, formerly of Audubon, NJ passed peacefully on Sunday, February 23rd at the age 96 years.

Beloved wife of William Joseph Maginnis(deceased)

Devoted mother of: Sharon Raible (Dennis), Barbara Matchett (Dale-deceased), and William Michael Maginnis (deceased).

Loving grandmother of Eric Raible (Kelly), Jeffrey Raible (Tanya), Kevin Raible (Tabitha), Sean Matchett (Jacqueline), Kelly Matchett Vacio (John).

Loving great -grandmom of Madeline Raible, Evangeline, Aurelio and Lila Matchett.

Norma  is predeceased by her brother, Joseph Scarduzio. She is loved by all of her nieces and nephews.

Norma was blessed with many friendships over the years. She was very active in Girl Scouts when girls were younger and served on the PTA for Audubon Schools in the elementary schools and High Schools. She was always giving of her time and talent for sewing , gardening, baking whenever needed.  Norma loved being surrounded by nature and with her husband took many trips. They enjoyed the shore vacations the most surrounded by family and friends.  Norma and Bill married in 1953 and enjoyed many years of marriage until Bill’s death in 2018 .  Her giving spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

Visitation at St. Joseph the Worker Parish will be Thursday, March 13th , 10:00-11:00am followed by a  Funeral Mass  at 11:00am. Address:  St. Joseph the Worker, 901 Hopkins Road, Haddonfield, NJ 08003.

Interment will be private.
