Patricia "Patty" Weigold Obituary

Patricia “Patty“ Weigold passed from this world on June 7, 2026. She is survived by her husband, Jim and their three sons James (Nora), Jeffrey (Tracie) and Justin.

Patty grew up in Saint Michaels Parish at 2nd and Jefferson. Sibling of Joan Eastwood ( Jim), Jim McCann, (Marian), MaryJane Dantonio, ( Bruce), Dennis McCann (Ruth), and Eileen Buzas with multiple nephews and niece.

Patty married her husband, Jim and made their home in northeast Philadelphia, moving ultimately to Brigantine Beach New Jersey.

While in the northeast, Patty was a devoted volunteer for the Katherine Drexel shrine in Bensalem. She also volunteered and participated in her children’s school activities, both grade school and high school.

Patty helped in the family business, We Care, as the bookkeeper,  but loved being a homemaker and mother the most. She had many jobs along the way including Avon and MaryKay and enjoyed her weekly ceramics; many a “PW” is on the bottom of treasured crafts. She enjoyed all the kids on Templeton and counted the families among her closest relationships.

Jim and Patty were able to fulfill their wish of owning a condominium in Brigantine where many a great time was had. Great friends and good times. She spent a lot of her time at Wally‘s, helping Lynn out with the books and staying in touch with the heartbeat of her beloved beach community.

Patty was a devoted Catholic raising her children Catholic and being a devoted mother. Nothing gave her more pleasure than being in her son’s activities and following her beloved Eagles and Phillies. Watching her teams gave her exciting and memorable moments over the last 20 years, either at home or at the Brigantine VFW where she also gave of her time as well.

As for her devoted husband, Jim, he says two souls met in high school, went to junior and senior prom together, spent 60 years together with 55 of them being married. For him, the time was still too short.
