Richard C Greenwald

Richard C. Greenwald of Lafayette Hill, born October 23, 1935 to the late Arthur and Matilda Greenwald peacefully passed on Friday, June 14, 2024.  Beloved husband of 49 years to Elaine (nee Sacco). Loving brother to the late Arthur (Rosemarie) Greenwald.  Loving uncle to Theodore (Dixie) Greenwald , great uncle to Derek (Nikki) Greenwald and great great uncle to Chloe, Parker and Alex. Richard was a caring Godfather to Marie (Joe) Kania and attended many Kania family celebrations.

He was a proud graduate of West Philadelphia Catholic High School for Boys.  Actively served six years in the United States Army Reserves.  

He enjoyed traveling the world with Elaine; cruising rivers and oceans, hiking down mountains, visiting the USA, Europe, and Canada. 

A devout Catholic, Richard volunteered to help his parishes and contributed to many charities. 

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Thursday June 27, 2024 from 9:30am to 10:15am at St. David RC Church, 316 Easton Road, Willow Grove PA 19090. Memorial Mass to follow at 10:30am.

Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
