Rita was a retired Critical Care nurse after 40 years of caring for those most critically ill.
She worked tirelessly with those in need. So much so that she served a tour in VietNam.
She was an avid reader and crafter . She sewed, crocheted and enjoyed quilting and making crafts to sell for charity.
She was a generous woman supporting many worthwhile charitable organizations.
Beloved sister to J. Clayton (Mary) William, and J. Michael (Marie) Potter.
She was also survived by nieces and nephews: Molly Potter, Will Potter, Heather Potter Montalto, Michael Potter, Rebecca Potter Jordan and Matthew Potter.
She also had many great nieces and nephews: Francesca, Joseph, Michael-Daniel, Nico and Luca Montalto; Luke and Mea Potter; Brennan and Lacey Potter; and Carlin and William Potter.
She was devoted to her church and her parents, in their lifetime.
