Robert “Bob” Felte

June 25, 1929 – August 10, 2024

Robert “Bob” Felte, a devoted family man, veteran, and respected member of his community, passed away peacefully at his home on August 10, 2024 with his children by his side. Born in Philadelphia in 1929 to William A. Felte and May E. Felte (née Metzinger), Bob was the beloved brother of Terry Mahoney, William Felte, and Gerald Felte, all of whom predeceased him.

A longtime resident of Linwood, New Jersey, Bob also lived in Hilton Head, South Carolina; Florida; Coatesville; and Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. He had a deep love for travel, particularly to Disney World, enjoyed playing golf, and cherished every moment spent with his family. Bob was also passionate about coaching youth sports, dedicating many years to baseball and football teams in the Upper Moreland Little League and the Willow Grove Midgets.

Bob was the founder of Felte Real Estate in Willow Grove and served as Past President of the East Montgomery County Board of Realtors where he was an active and influential member of the Board of Directors for many years. His dedication to the real estate profession and his community was evident in all he did.

He was married to his childhood sweetheart, Regina A. Felte (née Jeanne Hollywood), until her passing. Later in life, Bob was fortunate to find love again with his wife, Joan Felte (née Holland).

Bob was a loving father to Patricia Blackwell, Robert Felte (Pat), Richard Felte (Donna), Cheryl Borghi (Carlo), and Michele Hansen, and a cherished stepfather to Susan Hauguel (Maurice), Robert George (Kathy), and Andy George (Julie). He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Regina L. Wyers (née Felte), his great-grandson Baby Felte, and his sons-in-law Warren Blackwell and Rick Hansen. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life.

A proud veteran of the Korean War, Bob served his country honorably as a Petty Officer 2nd Class in the United States Navy aboard the USS Hopewell and the USS Lewis Hancock.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Tuesday August 20, 2024 from 9:30am to 10:15am at St. David RC Church, 316 Easton Road, Willow Grove PA 19090.  A Memorial Mass will follow at 10:30am.

Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
