Roberta Ann (Kolb) Kelly 87 years old of Souderton Pa passed away July 13, 2024. She slipped into the arms of our Heavenly Father peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
Roberta (Birdie) was born to Louis Kolb and Cecelia (Potts)Kolb at Chestnut hill Hospital on October 22, 1936. Birdie was the youngest of five siblings, Edward Kolb, Louis Kolb, Daniel Kolb and Caroline Kolb.
Roberta married Richard Gerald Kelly (November 23, 1937- September 20,2018) on September 15, 1959.
Roberta graduated from: Our Mother of Consolation 1951, Mount Saint Joseph Academy 1955, Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital Nursing School 1958.
Roberta spent her nursing career at Chestnut Hill Hospital and Saint Josephs Villa. She was a dedicated employee who enjoyed caring for the sick.
Birdie is survived by her children Jeanette (Kelly) Weidner (Robert Weidner), Sharon (Kelly) Stimmler (Eric Stimmler), Linda Kelly, Timothy Kelly Janet Dickson (Kelly), Patty Kelly, Kathy (Kelly) Reape and Honorary son, Dennis Lee. She was grand mom to 13 and great grand mom to 13 children.
Roberta was a devoted mother, grand and great grand mom and friend who enjoyed sharing her faith in God with her family. She cherished spending time at sporting and school events with the children. She had a love for camping, gardening, puzzles, books and surrounding herself with family and friends. She valued her long time friendship with Jack Erkert.
Birdie’s ability to make everyone feel special will be forever remembered by all who knew her. Her presence will be deeply missed by all but her love for life will bloom in the hearts she left behind.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Thursday July 25, 2024 from 10am to 10:45am at St. Agnes, Roman Catholic Church, 445 N. Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960. Memorial Mass will follow at 11am.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, 235 Matsonford Rd, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
