Rosalie (Maffei) Poiesz

Rosalie Maffei Poiesz, 94, of Roslyn on July 7, 2024. 

She was predeceased by her husband of nearly 53 years, Robert H. Poiesz, her son, Robert D. Poiesz, and her great-granddaughter Elena Rosemary Moran-O’Brien. 

She is survived by her children, Francis Poiesz, David Poiesz, Paul Poiesz, and Mary Poiesz-Moran, as well as her children’s loving spouses and partner.  She also leaves behind her 21 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. 

Rosalie was an amazing Mom and an even more amazing grandmother.  In her early life, she worked in the Pharmaceutical industry.  After raising her family, she enjoyed a third career with a podiatry practice in various roles including office manager. 

Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family for visitation on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church at 820 North Hills Avenue, Ardsley, PA 19038, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.  Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 AM.  (qofpeacechurch.org)
