Rosemary Greenwood (nee Matraszek), 67, of Hatboro, PA, passed away on April 2, 2024, surrounded by family and friends after a long battle with pancreatic and neuroendocrine cancer.
Rosemary was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 6, 1956 to the late Gloria and Stephen Matraszek.
Rosemary graduated from St. Hubert High School class of 1974. Rosemary always loved music and played violin in the orchestra. She was also A Girl Scout. She was a loving wife and mother who chose to devote her life to raising and caring for her children. Rosemary loved her grandchildren and there was nothing that made her smile more.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years R. Greenwood, her children Stephanie O’Brien (Timothy), Robert J. Greenwood (Anne) and Rachel L. Greenwood, her grandchildren Killian, Nolan, Audrey and Isla O'Brien, her brothers Stephen T. Matraszek and Paul A. Matraszek, her sisters Kathleen McGrath and Lois A. Robinson, her nieces Jacqueline Robinson Dyar and Julie M. Robinson, and her nephews Adam R. McGrath and Alex R. McGrath.
She also leaves behind her friends Peggy Keene and Bev Ferrara, and her dog Beau.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the John J. Bryers Funeral Home, 406 Easton Road, Willow Grove PA 19090. A Memorial Service will follow at 12pm.
