Sabina Anne Schneider, age 85, formerly of Ocean City NJ, passed away on Nov 9th, 2022.  Born Sabina (but known as Anne) on October 16th, 1937 in Philadelphia.  She was the youngest of the late William and Anna Loughrey’s nine children.

Anne is predeceased by her beloved husband, Henry Francis Schneider, and will be lovingly remembered by her three children:  Marybeth Stewart (Donald), Joseph Schneider (Maureen) and Christopher Schneider (Tiffany) and her 7 grandchildren: Patrick Stewart, Matthew Stewart, Olivia Schneider, Michael Stewart, Jake Schneider, Logan Schneider, and Evan Schneider.  She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Francis Mangan as well as many wonderful nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings: Rita Gilson, Nora Grogan, Margaret Stout, Sarah Kaiser, John Loughrey, Mary Loughrey, William Loughrey, and Julia Mangan.

Anne met her loving husband, Hank, while working in the Rohm and Haas building in Philadelphia.   On May 27, 1967, Hank and Anne were married at St. Anselm’s Church in Philadelphia. 

After attending John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls’ High School, she went on to a long career at Holy Redeemer Hospital in Meadowbrook, PA in support of several administrative functions in the Emergency and Operating Rooms.  She greatly enjoyed her several decades of work there and made many great and lasting friendships that continued until her passing.

After retirement, Anne supported her children as a loving Grandmother, and will be remembered as “Grammy”, always with a witty comment or funny story.  One of her greatest joys in life was spending time with family.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Friday November 18, 2022 at 11am at Our Lady of Good Counsel, Southampton PA.  Viewing in church from 10am to 10:45am.

Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem PA.
