In Loving Memory of Suzanne Camp
Suzanne Camp, a lifelong resident of Ardsley, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the age of 69.
Born and raised in Ardsley to the late Robert Holden, Jr. and Edith Lynd (nee Bell), Suzanne was a proud graduate of Abington High School in 1974. It was during her senior year that she got engaged to the love of her life, John Camp, Sr. The two were married in 1976 and eventually returned to Suzanne’s childhood home, where she spent her entire life creating a lifetime of new memories in the house where she grew up.
Suzanne had a joyful soul and an unwavering devotion to others. She spent 17 years as a familiar face at Super Fresh in Abington and Upper Dublin before transitioning into work as a home health aide for Steph Rondinelli—a role that perfectly suited her kind heart and selfless nature.
She found her greatest joy in the simple pleasures: completing a difficult puzzle, painting ceramics, coloring and, of course, enjoying a day of shopping. Her summers were anchored by trips to Ocean City, NJ, where she cherished time spent with her beloved Aunt Marion and created a legacy of beachside memories for her and her family.
Suzanne will be remembered most for her good-humored spirit and her ability to put the needs of her family and friends above her own.
She is survived by her devoted husband, John; her children, John Michael and Jeffrey (Jennifer); and her cherished granddaughter, Audrey. She is also survived by her brother, Robert Holden (Janice); her nieces and nephews, Ryan (Jen), Rebecca (Chris), Chris (Whitney), Gina (John), and William III; and a community of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Edith and her step-father, Harry Lynd.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday April 18, 2026 from 9am to 10:45am at Queen of Peace RC Church, 820 N Hills Ave, Ardsley, PA 19038. Funeral Mass will follow at 11am.
Interment will be private
