It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our brother, Thomas C. Wilson. Tom passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at the age of 71.
Tom was born to the late Donald R. Sr. and Mildred M. Wilson of Hatboro. Tom is also preceded in death by his brothers Fred and Don, Jr. His family couldn’t have been prouder of his accomplishments and he will surely be missed by his surviving siblings Deb (Mark), Jack (Brenda), Jill (Paul) and Millie (Erik) along with his many nieces and nephews.
Tom graduated from Upper Moreland High School. Upon graduation, Tom joined the Marines, serving in Vietnam and then continuing to proudly serve for 20 years, retiring as a Gunnery Sergeant. Upon retiring from the Military, Tom, went on to begin a new career as a Lutheran Minister. He studied at Temple University and then the Mount Airy Seminary. After being ordained he moved to Clovis, New Mexico and then to Kearney, Nebraska to serve as a Youth Minister for the University of Nebraska, a job he truly loved. Through his service in the Marines and the Ministry Tom enjoyed travelling the world.
Services will be held on Monday, February 13, 2023 at John J. Bryers Funeral Home with visitation at 10:00 and services to follow at 10:30. The burial will be at Hillside Cemetery.
