Walter M. Hagerty, of Abington, formerly of Mt. Ephraim, NJ, passed away on March 18th at the age of 63.
Walt was an Army veteran who served his country fearlessly and with immense pride. Throughout his life, he was known for his unwavering passion for the Philadelphia Eagles, his love of playing golf, and his enthusiasm for Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
He was a devoted husband to his wife, Ann "Sis" Hagerty.
He was the proud father to Danielle (Kody) Churchill and cherished grandpop to Colton Churchill.
Walt was predeceased by his parents, James and Rosemarie Hagerty, and his brother, Jim (Betty) Hagerty. The fourth of six children, Walt is survived by his siblings: John (Patricia) Hagerty, Michael (Karen) Hagerty, Denise (David) Chorzelewski, and Linda (Michael) Dotterer. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved him.
A private family interment will take place on April 8th at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. Walt will forever be remembered and missed by all who knew and loved him.
