On November 23, William Danyluk Jr. of Horsham, PA peacefully passed away surrounded by the family he so deeply loved. He was 92.
Born on October 12, 1933, in Philadelphia, William was fondly known by many names, including William, Bill, Junior, Dad, and Pop-Pop.
A child of the Depression era, he learned the value of hard work and the importance of a dollar at an early age—lessons that guided him throughout his life. Like many of his generation, he proudly served his country. Bill served in the U.S Army and was deployed to Europe, spending time in Germany and France.
Upon returning from service, he met “the Lady in Red,” Kathryn, whom he quickly fell in love with. They shared 68 wonderful years of marriage together. A true renaissance man of his time, Bill could service a car, handle most plumbing and electrical work, carpentry and still always make time for his family.
Beyond his devotion to family, Bill’s passions included tennis, pickleball, and a good game of pinochle. He was also a fond member of the ‘Under The Tree Gang’ at Hideaway Swim Club for over 50 years.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Kathryn; his children Diane Kelly (Ray), Bill , Dave, and Linda Coyle (Bill); as well as nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren who carry forward his legacy.
He was preceded in death by his sisters Helen, Mary, and Betty, his brother Joseph and his beloved cat Smokey.
