William S. Sullivan, Jr., 96, of Lafayette Hill PA died on October 25, 2021. He is survived by his loving daughter Pamela DiFerdinando (Walter), and his loving grandchildren Michael Kelly Jr. (Amy), Lauren Iochum (Chris), Jason Kelly (Emily), Nick DiFerdinando (Emily), and Stephen Kelly, and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his son-in-law Michael Kelly Sr. (Aileen). William was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years Marilyn (nee Boyens) and beloved daughter Virginia Kelly.
William was a World War II veteran and recipient of a Purple Heart. He graduated from New York Military Academy in 1943 and was also a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania. He had many hobbies over the years, but some of his favorites were collecting cameras and going to garage sales. At Masonic Village he was known as “the puzzle man” because he loved doing jigsaw puzzles with his friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to his burial on Monday November 8, 2021 at 10:15am at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd, Newtown, PA 18940.
After the interment there will be a brief gathering from 12pm to 12:30pm for any family or friends that would like to attend at John J. Bryers Funeral Home, 406 Easton Road, Willow Grove PA 19090, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:30pm.
