The John J. Bryers Funeral Home, Inc. has been afamily owned and operated funeral home serving Willow Grove, Huntingdon Valley,Abington, Horsham, Hatboro, Warminster, Warrington, Upper Dublin, Oreland,Doylestown and Glenside for over 60 years.  We take great pride in servingpeople of all Faiths, Cultures, and Nationalities.  

Founded by John J. Bryers Sr. and his wife Ann Bryers, the original FuneralHome was located on Allegheny Avenue in Philadelphia and relocated to WillowGrove in the early 1970s. John Sr. and Ann ran the business together until JohnSr. passed away in 1982. Ann continued to run the Funeral Home with the help ofher son John J. Bryers Jr. until 1998 when she retired. John then brought inJeffrey S. Thompson to run the daily operations of the Funeral Home. With thebusiness growing John and Jeff added Brian Hurst to the staff in 2002, andKeith J. Murphy in the fall of 2004. 

Today Jeff, Keith and Brian run the Funeral Home from day to day helping thefamilies that we serve. We take great pride in treating every family as if itwere our own and are proud supporters of our community

Jeff is currently a member of the Willow Grove Lions Club,Keith is a member of the Lionsville Lions Club and the Chester County FuneralDirectors Association, and Brian is a member of the Willow Grove Rotary Club. 

The staff of the John J. Bryers Funeral Home is available 24 hours a day and 7days a week to help the families that we serve.

The Funeral Home is located on the corner of Allison Roadand North Easton Road (Route 611) right next to St. David Church. With an ampleparking lot and plenty of on street parking the John J. Bryers Funeral Home isable to accommodate any size service. The Funeral Home is handicap accessible,there are no stairs going into the building to make it easier for guests. Theviewing room is rather large and able to seat over 100 people.

As of 2023 David G Richardson Funeral Home, located 7450 Oxford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19111, closed.  Dave has transferred his funeral directors license to the John J. Bryers Funeral Home. Dave and his wife Cheryl are still available to help families. The John J. Bryers Funeral Home will honor all the pre-paid funerals that were setup with the David G Richardson Funeral Home.
